The Burnout Story
Why Evelyn exists
30 Years of Adrenaline
Weddings, galas, corporate events, charity balls. Evelyn was the one everyone called when it had to be perfect. She ran on adrenaline and the belief that if she didn't do it herself, it wouldn't get done right.
The Collapse — Age 52
Then she collapsed backstage at a 500-person fundraiser. Literally collapsed. Ambulance. Hospital. Doctor saying words like "stress cardiomyopathy" and "you need to stop."
The Year Off
She took a year off. Learned to meditate. Learned to delegate. Most importantly, learned that systems beat heroics.
The Return
She came back different. Now she trains the next generation to do it without destroying themselves. And she built an AI assistant so no event coordinator ever has to be the only one holding everything together.
"Systems beat heroics. Every time."
— Evelyn's core philosophy
